I am an artist because I enjoy the creation process from a blank piece of paper to a powerful finished piece. I am passionate about my work and I am always working to improve my skills and achieve new levels. I aim to create pieces that really come to life.

As a photo-realist, I do most of my work from photographs. Most of the decision making for my work is done up-front; medium, substrate, layout, style, etc. Once the decisions have been made, I can fully focus on the fine detail work in my illustrations. It is my goal to excel at my craft and make my work come to life. I take great pride in my ability to accomplish this through many years of practice and education.

My current work has been a focus on pet portraits and landscapes. When I began drawing, I would draw pictures of my favorite sports figures and celebrities. My work has now evolved into more personal and meaningful subjects starting with my pets and the pets of my family and friends. I am also working on landscapes of places that I enjoy and that have meaning to me. While I enjoy the entire creation process, there is nothing more rewarding than successfully completing a piece. I really enjoy seeing people's reactions to my work.

It gives me great pleasure to be able to share my work online with my new website. I hope you will view my gallery and leave some feedback.
